The ostrich eye is bigger than its brain

His eyes occupy 2/3 of his head, which is very small compared to his body. They are about 5cm in diameter, they are larger than those of an elephant and 2 times larger than those of humans.

Its brain is relatively small and weighs only about 40g (it is reminiscent of reptiles), while an eye ostrich weighs about 50g.

It is the largest and fastest bird: the ostrich can reach 100 km / h in sprint.
