Mickey Mouse was the first non-human to win an Oscar

At least that’s what the newspapers of the day said, even though an animal may not officially win such a reward. The Oscar returned in 1932 to Walt Disney for the creation of the character. Since then, the company he has created has gained dozens.

Generally, very few animated films are presented in the Oscar category for best film. This was the case with Beauty and the Beast in 1992, Up in 2010 and Toy Story 3 in 2011, but none of them won the title.
