Pierce Brosnan wasn’t allowed to wear a tuxedo in any other film than James Bond

Actors playing the role of James Bond may be prohibited from wearing a full suit in the other films in which they play, during the period that binds them by contract to the role of 007. Pierce Brosnan was thus subject to this clause of no -competition between 1995 and 2002.

In a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair he could not appear in costume during a social evening scene, as provided by the original script. The brand of the watch it is wearing has also been cleared from the dial to the picture as it also had a similar clause with the Omega luxury watch brand!
