The harmonica is the world’s best-selling musical instrument

This instrument, made famous especially by the film “Once upon a time in the West”, is the most sold (and most played) in the world but also one of the most unknown. It appears in the 1820s but its origins are much older: the first instruments with free reed (name given to the vibrating tongue) were used in Asia from the 3rd millennium before our Era.

It has been used in popular songs by many famous musicians: The Beatles (Love Me Do), Bruce Springsteen (The River), Gun’s and Roses (Bad Obsession), The Rolling Stones (I Just Want to Make Love to You) or Bob Dylan.
